What Backed is

Backed is a Solana launchpad where every token trades against a real asset: a tokenized equity, SOL, or a blue-chip memecoin. Launching needs no capital — one transaction creates the token and opens its pool, with the whole supply sitting above the launch price.

Trading fees accumulate in the paired asset, not in the token itself. On holder-rewards tokens, 80% of them flow back to holders.

What you can pair with

The list is curated. Anyone can launch, but not against anything — a pair is only as good as the asset behind it.

Launching

Choose a name, symbol and image, the asset to pair with, a swap fee, and how fees split. Supply is always 1,000,000,000 tokens and all of it goes into the pool. You deposit nothing; you pay roughly 0.0035 SOL of network rent.

The opening valuation is fixed by the protocol at $4,000.00, never by the launcher, so every token starts from the same place. The price in the pair asset is derived from that valuation at launch time.

Everything settles in one atomic transaction: if any step fails, nothing happens. And nothing can be changed afterwards — not the fee, not the split, not the pair, and no more tokens can ever be minted.

The price floor

A launch opens its pool immediately — there is no bonding-curve phase and nothing to graduate. The entire supply goes in as a single-sided position covering the range from the launch price upward.

Because no liquidity sits below that price, a sell that would push through it has nothing to trade against and fails at the pool, not at a rule we enforce. That is a property of how the position is built, not a promise.

Two things this does not do: it does not stop the price falling back to the floor, and it does not lock the position. LP locking is not wired yet, so the launcher still holds the position and can withdraw it.

Dividends

  1. People trade — the swap fee accrues in the paired asset.
  2. Fees are claimed — 80% goes to the holder pool.
  3. You accrue pro-rata to your balance at claim time.
  4. Payout is automatic once your pending balance passes $5.

Hold at least 10.0K tokens to qualify. Dividends are paid in the asset the launcher chose, which does not have to be the one the token trades against. Tokens sitting in the liquidity pool never earn.

Fees

Holder rewards
80% / 20% platform

80% of fees paid out to holders in the paired asset. 20% platform.

Creator rewards
50% / 50% platform

You keep 50% of every trading fee. 50% platform.

The split applies to the pool's swap fee, set at launch. The mode is chosen by the launcher and can never be changed.

Safety

  • Liquidity is not locked yet. LP locking is NOT wired yet: the launcher holds the position NFT after launch and can withdraw the liquidity. Do not treat a launch here as rug-proof until that ships.
  • Supply is fixed. Mint and freeze authorities are destroyed at launch. Nobody can mint more, freeze wallets, or edit metadata.
  • Pairing is not ownership. Pairing against a tokenized equity does not give holders any claim on that equity or the company behind it. The stock is a counterparty, not a backing.

Venue

Launches route through pump.fun. Different venues can deliver different guarantees, so the pad states them explicitly rather than assuming:
